I haven't stepped in my pointe shoes in a long time, and with the 2013 summer season almost coming to an end, I couldn't help but to step back into my dancing shoes and take a couple of ballet shots under the summer sun! DID I MENTION.... It was also my BIRTHDAY that day! Anyway, on another note, because I was wearing a long maxi dress, I thought a ballet shoot would be perfect for the sunny weather. At first, I took many road shots but weren't pleased with the majority of them. However, my cousin (aka photographer) then suggested that I somehow incorporate my dance poses inside the arbor arch on our front porch... I thought it was a FANTASTIC idea!
